Devon Mayse, Contract Attorney

Devon Mayse is a native of Adrian, Michigan and now calls Albion, Michigan home. She is an alumna of Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where she graduated magna cum laude. While at Cooley, she was a member of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, the Thomas Cooley Law Review, and Delta Theta Phi. As a law student, Devon clerked for the Family Law Project, a Legal Services of South Central Michigan office specializing in assisting survivors of domestic violence with divorce, child custody, and other legal matters. Prior to attending law school, Devon graduated summa cum laude from Olivet College with a Bachelor of the Arts with a major in History and minor in Political Science.

Devon currently serves as Associate Counsel at Starr Commonwealth, a non-profit organization in Albion, MI. Through her work with Starr, she earned certifications as a Clinical Trauma and Resilience Practitioner (CTRP-C) and incorporates trauma-informed, resilience-focused care and strategies into her work as an attorney.
