Katherine West, Law Clerk
Katherine West (she/her) is a native of Northern Kentucky and a second-year student at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Prior to going to law school, Katherine graduated magna cum laude from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Affairs. During college, Katherine specialized in Women and Politics. Katherine’s prior experience includes survivor advocacy at the Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney’s Office in Kentucky, labor law as a fellow with the Service Employees International Union in Washington, D.C., and asylum assistance for women in South Carolina. She is interested in many areas of law, including employment discrimination and Title IX litigation and advocacy.
Katherine currently serves as President of UC’s Trial Practice Team and enjoys kayaking and baking sweets in her free time. She is unwaveringly passionate about learning everyone’s stories and pursuing both individual and systemic justice.
