Laura Boniface, Contract Attorney
Laura Boniface is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan Law School. An Ohio native, Laura grew up in Youngstown, Ohio and earned her Bachelor’s degree in History from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio in 2015. Following graduation, she worked at a consulting firm in Washington, D.C., and her work there exposed to her class actions and liability. After nearly three years in the capital, she returned to the Midwest for law school.
During her three years at Michigan Law, Laura has been involved with several student groups and pro bono projects. These include the Women’s Law School Association, serving as member and mentor, and the Property Tax Appeal Project, which works to help Detroit homeowners appeal unconstitutionally high property tax assessments. She also worked as a student-attorney in the Veteran’s Legal Clinic. Her interests in the law are varied, ranging from health, education, and civil rights to government investigations. In addition to working with Elizabeth Abdnour Law, Laura is the 2021-2022 Clifford Chance Foundation Fellow at the Vera Institute of Justice.
