Ruwarashe Mukwada, Legal Assistant
Ruwarashe Mukwada is originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University in December 2022 where she obtained her B.A. in political science pre-law with minors in International Development and Spanish.
Ruwarashe is passionate about issues surrounding women’s reproductive and socioeconomic rights, particularly in immigrant communities. This is present in her involvement as an English tutor and volunteer at the refugee center. She will be starting law school in fall 2023 and plans to pursue a career in immigration law where she can continue her work in advocating for women and those affected by gender based discrimination.
